Mineralisation cartridge for coffee machines in very soft water areas
BRITA PURITY C500 MinUp is a mineralisation cartridge for coffee machines supplied with very soft or demineralised water. It adds naturally occurring calcium carbonate back into the water, which raises carbonate hardness a little. That helps coffee extract properly and lets the machine's water-level sensors work as intended.
It is used after BRITA PURITY C Quell ST where carbonate hardness is 3°dH or below. Four stages cover pre-filtration, mineralisation, activated carbon and fine filtration. The mineralisation effect lasts for the whole filter life. Capacity is up to 30,000 l, and the cartridge is installed vertically.
